CIF - Oakland Section Volleyball

The CIF, Oakland Section, is a nonprofit corporation organized to direct and control both boys and girls athletics in the secondary schools within the Section. With only 27 member schools, the Oakland Section has a rich and well-known history, producing nationally elite student-athletes and teams since its inception in 1940. The Oakland Section consists of 22 sports; 10 high schools in the Oakland Unified School District; and 17 Charter schools in the Bay Area Charter School Athletic Conference. The purpose of the section is to provide a system for conducting fair and equal interscholastic sports competition among the high schools.
